Goldshield Science

Goldshield Continuous Antimicrobial Technology

Goldshield’s patented formula provides long-lasting protection against bacteria and fungi that cause odors, staining, discoloration for surfaces when compared to other leading products. Goldshield surface protectants remain active for up to 90 days meaning, applications are less frequent but more effective when compared to alcohol-based solutions.

Covalent Bonding, Electrostatic

Microbial Destruction

Maintains long-term antibacterial protection with a strong bond that does not wash away or break down. The charged layer attracts and destroys microorganisms, preventing the development of resistance.

 Spacesuit

Goldshield® has been recognized by NASA and tested on the International Space Station (ISS) for its effectiveness in reducing biofilm contamination in water systems. The Research suggested that it can effectively eliminate 99.9999% of bacterial contamination over an extended period. They are currently examining the use of Goldshield to provide an antimicrobial solution for the Mars habitat and spacesuit.

Research: Hospital Experiment

Research data indicates a significant reduction in bacterial count in hospital environments following the application of Goldshield®️, particularly on high-touch surfaces. Statistical analysis shows a significant decrease (*P < 0.05)* in bacterial presence.

Study: Outdoor Furniture (Textile)
